Hello Folks, after picking your brains about the karrimor sabre 75.

I've not used or tried one, and am currently using a 45 which I really rate, it could do to be a bit longer in the back to be perfect but at 6'6'' I kind of accept that. It's one downfall though is short of living off rat packs I have little room for food so I'm toying with the idea of getting something a bit bigger. I know the Vulcan in a size 4 will do the trick and fit well but it's options at this stage, as much as anything else.

As food and water can make up a considerable percentage of weight carried, I'd like to ask those of you who are on the taller side and have used these bags, whats the back length like? comfy carry when loaded or not?

Thanks in advance Grin

Hi Tim,

have you got your war pension yet? If so, you might want to invest in a tailor made pack. I'd recommend these from Kifaru; a bit pricey but the build quality is second to none and they make it to your own physical measurements. The pound is still reasonable against the dollar.

They are modular so you can add and remove pouches at will. Lots of coulour options as well. By the way, i've got a 'Pointman'! Grin
